Privacy Policy
How Accoura Advisors handles enquiry information, website analytics and referrals to independent accounting, audit, tax, payroll and advisory specialists.
Who we are
Accoura Advisors is a website and independent intermediary service that helps businesses and individuals find suitable UK accounting, audit, tax, payroll and advisory specialists. We are not an ICAEW or ACCA regulated accounting firm and we do not provide regulated audit, tax or accountancy services directly.
For privacy queries, contact us at contact@accouraadvisors.co.uk.
Information we collect
We may collect personal information when you contact us, submit a consultation request, email us, use website forms or interact with the website.
- name, email address, telephone number and company name;
- details of the accounting, audit, tax, payroll or advisory support requested;
- business information such as turnover range, deadline, sector or service requirements;
- technical website information such as device, browser, IP address, approximate location and pages visited, where analytics are enabled.
We do not intentionally collect special category personal data through the website. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your enquiry.
How we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, assess what type of professional support may be suitable, make introductions to appropriate independent firms or specialists, manage our relationship with users, maintain website security, improve our website and keep internal records.
Our lawful basis will usually be legitimate interests, contract-related steps requested by you, or compliance with legal obligations where applicable.
Sharing information with partner firms
If your enquiry appears suitable for referral, we may share relevant information with a selected independent accounting, audit, tax, payroll or advisory firm so that they can assess whether they can assist. We do not send your details to multiple firms indiscriminately. We aim to make considered introductions based on service need, technical fit and availability.
Partner firms are independent from Accoura Advisors and will usually be responsible for their own privacy notices and client onboarding procedures once you engage with them directly.
Analytics, cookies and website tools
We may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website. Analytics information helps us improve content, tools and user experience. See our Cookie Policy for more information.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry records only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which they were collected, including responding to the enquiry, managing referrals, resolving disputes and maintaining business records. Where we do not have a fixed retention period, we assess retention based on the nature of the enquiry, whether an introduction was made, legal or regulatory relevance and whether further correspondence is expected.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the use of your personal information, and to request data portability. You may also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information submitted through the website. No website transmission is completely secure, so please do not send highly sensitive documents or confidential tax information unless specifically requested through an agreed secure method.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our website, services, legal structure or data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page.
